Important:

• You must update your Template to include the Collaboration Activity Tile or Collaborations on the Private Menu to allow your learners to view and access the Collaboration(s) they belong to.
• The Collaborations Activity Tile theme settings respect both Theme colors as well as the Customize Tile Theme colors.

How to Add a Collaboration Activity Tile

The following instructions guide you on how to add the Collaborations to an existing Template.  For information on how to create a new Template, please review the Department Templates article.

Step	Instructions
1	Navigate to the Templates page by clicking the Admin Menu Setup button and choosing Templates from the sub-menu.  You will be routed to the Templates Report page.
2	Choose the template you want to modify by clicking the checkbox next to its name so it is "checked." Then click the Edit button.  You will be routed to the template builder's Private Dashboard tab.
3	Adding a Collaboration Activity tile to the User's Dashboard: In the Private Dashboard tab, click the Content element to expand its section.  All of the containers and their tiles that have been assigned to the Template will be visible.  You can add the new tile to an existing container or create a new one. To do this, click the Add Tile(s) button. A modal will open, displaying the available tiles.  In the Engage Tiles section, select the Collaborations Activity option. Then click Save. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the main Save button. A confirmation message will display once the changes have been accepted. In order for a User to access the Collaboration from the Collaboration Activity Tile, the Collaboration must have at least 1 activity. Which means one comment must be associated to the Collaboration.  Adding Collaborations to the User Menu: In the Settings tab, click the Private Menu element to expand the section. All of the existing menu options will display. To add it to the menu, click the Add Menu Item button. From the drop down select Collaborations. The Admin can then move the Collaborations menu option to the preferred location in the menu by clicking and dragging the icon to the left of Collaborations, , or by using the up and down arrows to the right of Collaborations. Then click Save.
4	Navigate back to the Template Reports page by clicking the Return to Admin Template button located at the top of the page.
