Mobile App Observation Checklists

This article discusses accessing and interacting with Observation Checklists from the SkillSync Learn Mobile App. Information related to both the Learner Experience & Reviewer Experience are discussed here. It is important to note that the creation of Observation Checklists is the same regardless of how they are accessed.

For Learners

Accessing Observation Checklists from the SkillSync Learn Mobile App as a Learner is a streamlined process. To access the Observation Checklist follow these steps:

1. Access the Mobile App.
2. Locate a Course with an Observation Checklist.
   
    
3. Open the Lesson Details.
   
    
4. Click START.
   
    
5. Click Ready for review.
   
    
6. Return to the Lesson Details, the Observation Checklist will be Pending Review.
   

After the Review is Complete

When a review is complete, log into the Mobile App and open the Course with the Observation Checklist. You will see a complete button that opens the Lesson Object for result details, plus a view button for review specifics.

The review details include attachment PDFs and videos, results and comments, and expandable sections accessible via arrow buttons.

For Reviewers

As a Reviewer you may access and complete Observation Checklists from the Mobile App. If Notifications are enabled, you will receive a Notification indicating that an Observation Checklist is Ready for Review:

The Notification, once expanded, will provide additional detail about the Observation Checklist that is Ready for Review:

You may directly access the Reviewer Experience in the Mobile App by tapping the Menu Button in the top-left corner and selecting Reviewer from the Navigation Menu.

Reviewing an Observation Checklist

From the Reviewer Experience you will be able to select a Learner to review and proceed through the Observation Checklist all from within the SkillSync Learn Mobile App.

To review an Observation Checklist follow these steps:

1. Access the Mobile App as a Learner.
2. Tap the hamburger button from the top-left corner of the screen to open the Navigation Menu.
   
    
3. Select Reviewer from the Experiences section of the Navigation Menu.
   
    
4. From the list of Learners, select the one you want to review.
   
    
5. Select a Review to perform.
   
    
6. Complete each section of the Observation Checklist.
   
    
7. Add any Attachments, Final Results or Comments as required.
   
    
8. Once completed, click Submit at the bottom.
   
    
9. The successful submission will be confirmed.
