AI Podcasts and Scenarios in SkillSync Create

SkillSync Create can now leverage AI to create engaging, audio-only Podcasts and Scenarios from documents, text, or another Course. Podcasts can be generated when creating a new Course or adding a page to an existing Course. 

Note that this feature is currently in beta mode, and that any Podcasts created during beta mode will remain even if AI Podcasts is disabled. It is recommended that Users review any generated outputs of this feature for accuracy prior to Course publication. 

Generating a Podcast

Access SkillSync Create, and follow the steps below to create an AI Podcast:

1. Click on the Create button in the header menu.
2. Click AI Podcast in the Course Creation Wizard.
   
   
   
3. In the Generate Podcast with AI modal, select Podcast from the Content Type drop down.
4. Describe your Podcast in the Podcast Idea field. You can also add a source file, such as a PDF, an existing Course, or text, to include more details. 
   
   
   
5. Select voices in the Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 fields.
6. Click Generate. A pop-up with the message "AI Generation in Progress..." will appear.
7. Review the generated dialog. In the Podcast Editor you can change the Speaker voices, and which Speaker is assigned to each line of dialog. Additional dialog can also be added below each line using the Add Dialog Below button. Remove any unwanted dialog using the Delete button next to the Add Dialog Below button. 
   
   
   
8. Once you are satisfied with the dialog, click Generate Preview. The Preview Audio will appear at the bottom of the window.
   
   
   
9. Listen to the Podcast Audio and confirm it matches the dialog. Click Apply to Slide to add the Podcast to a Course, or click Discard to make additional changes. An automatic dynamic transcript will be generated on the slide. Please note that this process may take a few minutes. Once complete, you can click on a line in the transcript to jump to that section of the Podcast. 
   
   
   
   
   
10. Confirm the Podcast appears as expected on the Slide.  Click the Podcast tab in the right-hand menu to open the Podcast Editor and make further changes as required.
    

Generating a Scenario

Scenarios can also be created through the AI Podcast modal, but these are different from Podcasts. Scenarios recreate situations based on the entered description, which can provide helpful real-world examples to include in Courses. 

To create a Scenario, access the AI Podcast modal in the same way described earlier, but this time select Scenario from the Content Type drop down. 

Enter the Scenario description in the Scenario Idea field, and follow the same steps for AI Podcasts to generate the Scenario and add it to your Course.
