This article contains instructions and details about SkillSync Create core functionality.
What Are Interactions Behaviors
The behavior tab is where you will program all of the behaviors and animations for your interactions. You can access the behavior section by clicking on the interaction that you want to program and then click on the 'Behavior' tab in the side menu on the right of the screen. Once in that section, you will see all of the behavior parameters for that interaction.
Behavior Parameters
There are multiple parameters to modify in this section. Let's go through a rundown of everything:

| 2 | Pause Slide | Setting this to 'on' will pause the slide/video when the interaction appears. |
| 3 | Finish Time | Input a value here to specify at what time your interaction will finish and disappear from the page. |
| 4 | Show until the end of slide | Setting this to 'on' will automatically set the interaction to be displayed until the end of the slide/video. |
| 5 | Animations | Click on 'entrance' or 'exit' to choose a beginning and end animation for the interaction. There are multiple animations to choose from. To have a preview of each, simply click on any of the animations or click on the 'preview' button to trigger a preview. Depending on the type of animation, you can have up to 2 parameters to customize here: Direction and duration. The duration is set in millisecond. Once you have your animation set, click on 'Choose' to confirm your animation. |
| 6 | States And Variables | SkillSync Create offers 4 variables: User Name, Course Name, Course Status, and Course Grade. Each of these variables will fetch the corresponding data from the LMS to be displayed in that interaction. This is especially useful when wanting to create a summary page of the course where you show the data of how the learner did in the course. The interaction visibility parameter will set the visibility to either: Always visible, only visible when complete, only visible when in progress, or only visible when failed. |
| 7 | Action | The 2 buttons here will open the 'Actions' menu for you to customize the actions for your interactions. More information is explained in the 'Action' menu section just below. |
Action Menu
Clicking on 'Choose' for either the 'On Click' or 'On Hover' parameter will open the 'Action' menu where you can specify an action that will be triggered by either clicking or hovering over the interaction depending on whether you choose 'On Click' or 'On Hover'. Here is an explanation of what each of the actions does:

Hovering/Clicking on the interaction will navigate to another page in the course. In the field you can choose: None, go to the previous page, go to the next page and go to a page. If you choose 'Go to a 'page', a new field will appear asking you to select the page you want to navigate to. If that page has a timeline, another field will appear 'Go to specific timeframe (Bookmark)'. If that page has bookmarks set, you can choose a bookmark and the interaction will bring the learner directly to that bookmark in the page. |
| 3 | Show a tooltip | Choose between a list of 4 different tooltips: Text only, image, video, and audio. For more information on how to customize that tooltip, click here. |
| 4 | Open a webpage | Simply enter the URL in the specified field. Upon hovering/clicking the interaction, the webpage will be opened in a new tab. |
| 5 | Download | Click on the button 'Choose a file' and then select your file to upload. Hovering/clicking on the interaction will download the file to the computer. |
| 6 | Resume video playback | If the timeline is paused, hovering/clicking on the interaction will resume the playback of the slide/video. |
| 7 | Go to video timeframe | Input a value here. Hovering/clicking on the interaction will bring the learner to that exact moment in the current page. |

| 9 | Customize | When choosing to 'Show a tooltip' the 'Customize' button will appear. Click on this to open the tooltip editor and modify your tooltip. |

Tooltip Editor
From the 'Action' menu, when selecting show a tooltip, after choosing your type of tooltip you will be brought to the library to select your media that you want to be displayed in the tooltip (the only exception to this is the text tooltip where you will be brought directly to the tooltip editor). After having selected your media to be displayed, you will be brought in the tooltip editor. The tooltip editor is similar to the 'Appearance' tab when modifying an interaction so we will only go through the settings that are unique to the tooltip editor.

| 2 | Textbox Area | If your tooltip has a textbox, you can enter the text here. |
| 3 | Choose and save models | You can choose a model for your tooltip here as well as save new models from here. |
| 4 | Tooltip Position | This will determine where the tooltip will appear relative to the interaction it is attached to. You can choose from: Left, right, top and bottom. |
| 5 | Text Position | Choose where the text area is situated. You can choose from: No text, top or bottom. |
| 6 | Choose a Media | If you need to change your media to another file of the same type, click here. This will show either image, video, or audio depending on the type of media that has been selected prior. |
Different Behavior Settings For Different Interactions
Depending on the type of interaction that you have chosen, you might have different settings in the behavior tab. Most of the interactions will sport the same type of parameters as the ones that we have seen in this article. These interactions are: Text, button, shape, and icon. All of these interactions will have exactly the same parameters independent of which you choose. For the media and questions interactions, things are a little bit different. We will go through the differences here.
Media
The image media is exactly the same as the other ones, the only change is for the video and audio media where you will not have access to the 'Action' panel.
Questions
The behavior panel of the question interaction will be completely different. This behavior for questions will dictate logic for how the question interaction is handled. In order to learn about the behavior of questions, please refer to the article discussing question interactions.
